Facebook the very big social network, the user in facebook getting enjoyment and fun with their friends and collegous by chat, posts, comments poll and a lot of features are available in this facebook. Many peoples in the facebook likely says “I’m addicted to facebook”.In some case they want to delete the account to get relief from facebook,So for that users we present this article to delete or deactivating your account. There is two difference between deactivating the account and Deleting the account. Deactivating is just you will disable your account and others cant see your profile or information but you can reactivate your account by login Facebook again. but Deleting the Account is permanently you will delete your profile and information from Facebook.
If you want to Deactivate your Facebook account, You should follow these steps.
Before You Start
Remove Facebook Connect logins. If you use a Connect site to log in with your Facebook information, the account deletion will be cancelled and your account will be reactivated. If you have accounts on such sites, go to each of them, and:
- Make sure you have a way to login that does not involve Facebook Connect (you will most likely have to create a username and password on the site if you haven’t already).
- Log out of the account, then log back in using the alternate method (not using Facebook Connect), ensuring that you will be able to access the account after your Facebook account is deleted.
Go to the Facebook account deletion page once you have logged in. You will see this screen:

Step-2:
Click the “Submit” button and follow the instructions. There will be a password field and a CAPTCHA image to enter in. CAPTCHA images are to make sure you are the real owner of your account and not just an automated program.

Step-3:
Do not login or connect with your Facebook account. You will receive an email saying that your account will be deleted in 14 days, which is 2 weeks. Any interaction with the account during that period could prevent it from being deleted, so in the meantime:
- Do not try to login to your Facebook account; you may want to clear your browser cache and delete your cookies so that you don’t login inadvertently.
- Do not click the Facebook “Share” or “Like” button on any site you visit.
- Do not use Facebook Connect to login to or signup on any site (see Before You Start, above.)
Emailing Facebook to Delete the Account
- To speed up the process and if the above failed, try emailing Facebook.
- Email Facebook directly. The email is: [email protected] Request that Facebook deletes your account.
- Wait to get an email response from Facebook confirming that your account has been permanently deleted. This should take a few days.
- If you don’t hear back from Facebook within a week, email them again. This time, not only email Facebook at [email protected], but also send an email to [email protected] and one to [email protected]
- Finally, attempt to log in to your account once you get an email from Facebook. If you’re unable to log in and don’t get a message asking you to reactivate your account, your Facebook account has been permanently deleted.
